New release of Forensic IM Analyzer
We are happy to announce a new release of Forensic IM Analyzer with the following new features:

• Support for Pidgin messenger
• Support for ICQ 7 (including extraction of sms and file transfers)
• Skype 4 sms, voicemail and file transfers extraction
• Long awaited Skype chatsync extraction. Though chatsync in not a full record of Skype conversation and it is not possible to extract exact time and message direction, some valuable information is still extractable. If Skype history files (chatxxx.dbb or main.db) have been deleted, but the chatsync folder is still there, it may be possible to recover part of conversations
• Export of multiple profiles with two clicks. If you are working with several profiles, you may want to export their history without selecting each and every. Now you can just click top-level item of messengers tree and select Export
• If you export a profile to the same folder, the previous export results are not overwritten anymore. Instead, there is a folder with a new name ending with an unique number like Profile_1.

This new release of the product features protection using USB keys (dongles). With this protection your license key is not bound to a single computer and you can use the product on multiple computers if a USB key is plugged in. This is handy when your staff have multiple computers. For example, if you have 6 investigators and every investigator has 2 workstations and 1 laptop, instead of purchasing 18 regular licenses for every computer, you can register just 6 licenses with USB keys and save money. This kind of protection is indispensable when you are frequently changing your computer configuration so that hardware ID changes frequently, thus making your registration key invalid.

Please, note that, unlike regular version which is available to you almost immediately after the purchase, the version with USB keys may take one to two months to get to you. Of course, the promptness of delivery depends on what country you are from.

New release of Browser Analyzer
We are proud to announce a new release of Browser Analyzer with the following new features:

• Passwords extraction for all supported browser types (for IE, you should have access to a registry)
• Beta support of browser cache visualisation. You can see what content is stored on a computer and see a site viewed in the past without an Internet connection. This may be useful for parental purposes or forensic investigations

New release of Forensic Studio
Due to updates of Forensic IM Analyzer and Browser Analyzer, a new version of Forensic Studio has been released. The new version has all the new features described above.
We have also fixed some issues in the third part of Forensic Studio, Mail Analyzer, and have made it more robust.

New product released - Forensic Carver (Beta)
Belkasoft has released a Beta version of their carving tool. The tool allows you to retrieve deleted information from hard drives or images and analyze Live RAM in memory dumps. It helps you to look for various artifacts of a user's online activities, like chatting, Internet surfing and emailing. Forensic Carver has a predefined set of artifacts to look for. Currently, this set includes Skype v.3, Skype v.4, Digsby, ICQ Lite, Yahoo! Messenger (without decryption), Miranda IM, Windows Live Messenger, QIP Infium/2010, IE history, Firefox history for hard drive artifacts and ICQ 7, Yahoo! Messenger, Skype v.4, GMail, Windows Live Messenger for Live Memory.

The tool is able to do a complicated two-pass analysis of compressed and fragmented NTFS drives, which enables it to find much more artifacts when simple carvers "have given up".

Please, note that the Beta status of the software indicates the presence of some flaws and bugs. We are working hard on eliminating them for the final release by the end of July.

Belkasoft participated in EuroForensics and GPEC conference
Belkasoft has participated in EuroForensics conference, Istanbul, Turkey. In addition to being one of the sponsors of the conference, Belkasoft had their own booth and conducted a presentation devoted to Instant Messenger investigations. We met a number of our clients face-to-face, had a lot of useful conversations with them and we given a lot of ideas of how to improve our forensic products..

Belkasoft has also attended General Police Equipment Exhibition and Conference in Leipzig, Germany as an exhibitor. "It was very curious event, with a lot of real-world stuff like equipment, knifes, guns, police cars, etc." - says Yuri Gubanov, Belkasoft CEO. - "However, there was also a place for cybersecurity and forensic software like ours. We've met a lot of our German customers and were very glad to hear that they are all as one happy with our software."
